The TAC 2020-One Toronto Planning Committee is working closely with the Hilton Toronto to ensure the health and safety of our delegates, sponsors, exhibitors and guests amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This will extend to following all provincial, Toronto or venue requirements with respect to social distancing, masking and sanitization that may be in place.
As we anticipate that Toronto will remain in Ontario’s Step 3 for COVID-19 business and meeting regulations well into the fall, TAC 2020-One Toronto has consolidated all events to now run at the Hilton Toronto. While meeting capacities are reduced under Step 3 to 50% of normal maximums, we are pleased to report that the conference space booked at the Hilton Toronto can accommodate an in-person event of our size.
Ontario’s new Proof of Vaccination requirement will be in effect during the conference. As such, all participants will be required to show proof of their fully vaccinated status before being permitted entry to the conference floor. An individual is considered fully vaccinated if they have received:
- The full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or any combination of such vaccines, or
- One or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, followed by one dose of a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or
- Three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada; and
- They received their final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days before providing the proof of being fully vaccinated.
This is a mandatory provincial regulation that must be enforced by the Hilton Toronto staff – if you or your guests are not fully vaccinated, we regret that we will not see you at the conference this October.
We will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic protocols and guidelines and will provide updates on their impact on TAC 2020-One Toronto as they become available.

Should Ontario or Toronto revert to more restrictive COVID-19 requirements resulting in the cancellation of TAC 2020-One Toronto, sponsors, exhibitors and delegates will be offered the option of retaining their booking on account for a rescheduled event, or receiving a full refund.
